This year, we of course kept with one of our main Thanksgiving weekend traditions is heading to Bass Pro Shop with Neil, Katie, and Landon to visit Santa! The girls couldn't wait - I think this was the first year that I had pretty great confidence that they would both be happy to see St. Nick!
Meredith had her list hand written out for Santa and was super excited to share it. She asked for a bike, a helmet ("8 plus" was written next to it because I made her try on helmets so we would know what size to tell Santa, so she took me quite literally!), crutches for her doll, and a Pet Vet set. Jillian asked for "Maddie that has hair" (meaning she wanted one of the American Girl Bitty Twin dolls - well, she really wanted McKenna, like Meredith, but I told her that she would have to wait until she was older, so she said "Ok, how about Rebecca" - nice try, Jillian!) and a wheelchair (for her doll - she wouldn't say this part though....so I got a strange look anytime she would give people her list....like them asking for crutches and wheelchairs for dolls didn't seem odd enough, when you don't say it is for a doll, people just don't understand!)
