Greetings From Austin

With a long weekend, we decided to make a trip down to Austin!  We got to stay with our friends Kelly and Jeff and their boys and had a blast!

Our first stop was the state capitol for our history loving girl!

The next day we had a yummy breakfast at a place where everything is made with doughnuts!
Neal had an doughnut sandwich and I had doughnut french toast

Then we headed to The Thinkery - a great Children's Museum in Austin.  The kids had a great time building, painting, experimenting and playing.

Then we headed to a park just outside The Thinkery
Noah and Jillian are just a few months apart and had a blast together!

Such a fun park

As we were playing, I noticed the sign on the Thinkery - It says "Meredith Learning Lab"

After the park, we decided to make a trip to the UT campus for some shopping at the Co-op and a little tour.

We finished our trip with lunch at Players - one of our favorite restaurants that will be closing down at the end of the month.  We had lots of fun late night meals here during college and loved getting to say good-bye.
