Cousin Playdate

Last week I was so excited to get to have Landon all to myself all day long! His mommy needed a kid-free day to get some cleaning done before she headed out of town to celebrate her big 30th B-day, and I was thrilled to get to help her out. The night before, we set up Meredith's train set since Landon loves trains. Meredith was pretty excited too because it had been much too long since we had gotten it down for her! Jillian loved having her buddy Landon over. Poor little thing, would watch Landon and Meredith run through the house and just wimper a little bit as she got frustrated that she couldn't follow along. I know her day is coming to be right along there with them!
One happy boy with his Thomas.
All of the kids playing with lots of different vehicles. Even though Jillian couldn't keep up with the running, she loved being in the middle of the train party - especially when that meant, she could yank trains off the tracks.

When it was time for a train break, I set up an art project to make a painting for Gigi's grandkid bedroom for Christmas.
They had lots of fun with their very abstract art! And after Jillian woke up from her nap, I even got her to add a little!

Next, Gigi had brought us some Gingerbread men they had leftover from a school project to decorate, so we starting icing and sprinkling away.
Landon, as you can see, preferred to make designs in the icing by adding M&Ms and scooping off icing. At that point, you have to eat the materials, right?
