Let it Snow!

How crazy that we have already had some snowfall in Texas this early! This was the first time for Meredith to really see snow and as soon as Neal announced that it was snowing, she couldn't be more excited! We all ran to the window to see huge flakes falling - of course they were immediately melting, but Meredith still shouted "Let's build a snowman!" I hated to tell her that couldn't happen, but she took it well and just said "Ok, let's have Hot Chocolate. You have Hot Chocolate when it snows." Hey, I don't need even that much of an excuse! I did bundle her up over her jammies and we headed out so she could see it up close. She had lots of fun catching it on her fingers. Then Neal was able to gather up enough off of his car to make a snowball, but she didn't want to touch it because it was "wet and cold." So I am thinking that if we do get a chance to build a snowman, it might be me doing all the building!
