Snow Day

Today we woke up to "snow" on the ground and two excited little girls (ok, Meredith was excited and Jillian just followed along!) No one seemed to care that it was really just icy sleet stuff - especially since that meant that not only had Neal's week long work trip been canceled, but he was also staying home from work altogether (and we just found out tomorrow too - yippee!) Meredith could hardly make it through breakfast without going out to play!

Jillian refused to keep her gloves on even though she wanted to make snowballs like Sissy. Needless to say, her interest in staying outside in the cold was pretty short-lived!

We spent the rest of the day inside keeping warm - we made a fire, baked cookies, played blocks, played play-doh and watched movies. Here's to hoping that I can keep us all happy with another day at home tomorrow!
