Rodeo Roundup

FBCA had a fun night for families last weekend - complete with a petting zoo, pony rides, hay rides, and food - is there any wonder Meredith was dying to go?

First up for my girls was the petting zoo!

Look at this confidence in Jillian's walk toward the goats.

Oops, they got too close - time to retreat to Mama's leg!
Meredith just wanted to make sure SHE was in charge of who got her food and when.
NOW she is in control!
Jillian warmed up after a bit - it didn't help that I led her to the smallest and cutest goat in the place!
Pretty proud of herself!
Well, it lasted until something bigger came close!

After our food had run out for the animals, we walked over for the pony rides!

Next up, we had a private Hayride! We went around our church and up the street a bit - right past a McDonald's, and when Jillian saw the Golden Arches, she started asking the driver to stop for Fries!

I was excited that while we ate corn dogs on the lawn and listened to music, Jillian saw our preschool Minister, Nanette, and ran off to see her. Jillian doesn't pick too many people to leave me for, but Nanette is one of them that she now will - she just loves "Mamette" and I love that she loves her.

Love this picture of Jillian and "Mamette"
