Lemonade for a cousin

Aunt Katie and Uncle Neil are just beginning the process of adopting from Korea. We are all super excited! A few weeks ago, they held a huge garage sale to raise money, so the girls and I headed over to their house on Friday morning to help. Meredith really wanted to have a lemonade stand, so I helped her get that set up. I planned to just help keep Landon happy so his mama could be fully in garage-sale mode. Turns out, he and Jillian were perfectly happy keeping each other occupied without us in the house (don't worry we checked on them lots!) so I was able to sort-of help outside too! Meredith sold lots of lemonade, but at one point only had like $1.50. She got really sad, and said "This isn't enough to buy a new cousin!" Sweet girl! She was super thrilled when our good friend, who has also been talking to Neil and Katie about their experience with adoption drove all the way out just to buy her lemonade. Made her day! And I was super proud that she never once even considered keeping any of the money from the lemonade sales, she just wanted it to help her "cousin fund!"
