Over the river and through the woods...

 This past weekend we loaded up the minivan and headed up to Missouri for a long-awaited trip to see my grandparents!  Meredith was super excited just like I expected her to be, but we hadn't been to see them in probably 2 years, and even still Jillian was obsessed with asking when we got to go to Grandpa Geurin's house! Every day, several times a day, I would hear "Affer lunch we go to Grandpa Geurin's house?" or "Affer rest we go to Grandpa Geurin's house?" And she even had clothes that she wanted to take picked out probably a week in advance! 

The girls did great in the car with lots of movies, a few fun games I had planned, snacks and drinks, and even an impromptu dinner with PJ in Norman, Oklahoma.  We got to their house pretty late and we just carried sleepy girls straight to bed.  The next morning, though, we were up and having a great time with all of Grandma's yummy cooking and tons of playing outside in the beautiful weather!

 

We missed T-ball for the trip, so Meredith wanted to make sure she got some practicing in!

 One of the highlights of their backyard is their neighbor has these beautiful horses that we got to visit every morning.

 Jillian made sure everyone was well stocked with flowers.

 Grandpa has this really fun chair that lifts, so he took the girls on a ride!
