One Sweet Night

Last weekend we got to go spend time with lots of our friend's and their kiddos appeasing everyone's sweet tooth! First, we dove into their super fun fire pit and got down to business making s'mores!
Looks like assembly time, right? Not really - Meredith likes a deconstructed s'more...just give her a little marshmallow and then a little chocolate. Not together, and keep the graham crackers, please.
Jillian wanted her turn, so grabbed Daddy's hand to go grab a marshmallow.

They make a pretty good team!
I was trying to help Jillian figure out how to get the big old marshmallow in her mouth...
..so now it was her turn to feed me! Yum!

So just in case we needed a little more sugar (and who doesn't this time of year?) We all headed inside for cookie decorating!

Jillian was very excited to break into the sprinkles!
Meredith is pretty serious about cookie decorating. She even told Gigi the other day that she is going to be a cookie maker when she grows up...her shop will only be open on Christmas Eve. Sweet idea, possibly a really bad business model, though.
She obviously hasn't discovered the beauty of licking your hands to get rid of the leftover frosting.
Enjoying her creation!

The kids were ready to head back outside and found some leaves that provided endless entertainment!
They all took turns burying each other.
And of course, there was lots of leaf throwing, jumping and running!
"Thanks for having us over, Bub Bub!"
