Christmas Eve Bake-a-thon

We had lots of fun baking projects for Christmas eve day!   We started off by decorating a birthday cake for Jesus!  This year, Meredith suggested a cookie cake, like she had for her birthday - and she then proceeded to plan out the whole frosting scheme!  So, we went off to the store to buy all the colors she needed and I let her go to it! :)

A couple of the tubes were pretty hard to squeeze (as you can tell by the look on this face!) but she did a great job!
Jillian wanted to help, too, of course!
The completed product - there is the big yellow star, a brown manger, Jesus is yellow and she knew that Mary was usually in blue.  And there is a blue camel, too.  Think it was pretty cute (and of course, it was incredibly tasty!)

Next up, we baked doughnuts for Santa (and for breakfast Christmas morning, too!) This year, I tried a new recipe and they were pretty yummy!
And they turned out pretty cute with Meredith's decorations!

Jillian looks pretty mischievous decorating the donut holes!
