Easter Eggsperience

Uncle Neil, Aunt Katie and Landon were nice enough to invite us to a really cool event at their church called the Easter Eggsperience - we all had a blast! There was an Easter Egg hunt (if you are counting, this makes Meredith's second hunt for 2010), face painting, games, bounce houses, clowns making balloon animals, and the Easter Bunny (and lots more that I know I am forgetting!)

Jillian was alright with the bunny, until she saw me, realized I was not the one holding her, and saw who was. She lunged for her sister immediately, but then sort of played along for a few more pictures. She did LOVE the bunny from afar though - she would make her "I see an animal noise" and point and kick like crazy, so we made lots of trips to get a little closer or let her give him a high five.
Jillian was obsessed with trying on my sunglasses - she was pretty darn cute with them on and trying to put them on - and she knew it too!\Meredith might have been reaching expert-level with her hunting skills, but this was Jillian's first-ever Easter egg hunt! She was thrilled to find just one and eat it while I handed her others. She did start adding the ones that she didn't want to chew on into her basket, so she caught on quickly!
