Easter Morning

Before heading off to church to celebrate Easter with our fantastic Church family, we had a few Easter surprises waiting for the girls. Jillian was ready to go, but Meredith was a little exhausted from the day before, so there were a few tears, but when she saw the fun in her basket, she perked up a bit! And we worked on a few iterations of "Jesus is risen!"

Their cute baskets - the big hit for Meredith was her Hamster (a Zhu Zhu pet) that she named Wally - he now sleeps in her turtle Easter basket next to her bed) and Jillian loves her Glow Worm - she grins every time she lights up and sings! We are all loving the books - they are both really cute!
Jillian might have been satisfied with just the grass!

I decided to give up on getting them to smile that early in the morning (we go to church at 8 am, so these were taken probably at 7ish) and I think they were very glad when I put the camera down!
